BV Cafe Marlborough

This vibrant, busy delicatessen and cafe in central Blenheim started out as a rundown, concrete shell.

The client’s brief was to create an industrial-style space with a metropolitan vibe. The existing concrete walls, vaulted ceiling and exposed steel beams lent themselves well for this purpose, and were further enhanced with use of plywood on the walls and cabinetry and stream-lined fittings.

The shop front was improved with the simple use of cement board plaster facades and cedar batons.
