Hawkins Architecture is an award-winning Marlborough based practice specialising in all aspects of Architecture from design to consent completion for residential, commercial, health care and hospitality projects.
After working in construction as a qualified builder for 15 years, designer Mark Hawkins studied architectural design before establishing Hawkins Architecture in 1998.
The combined 30 years’ experience on the tools and at the drawing board, has given Mark invaluable insight into the entire building process, enabling him to design elegant spaces with simple building solutions and manage projects of all sizes from start to finish.
While Hawkins Architecture are passionate about delivering quality innovative designs, they work closely with their clients to create homes and buildings that reflect their individual personality and lifestyle.
The use of computer-generated 3D design imagery enables clients to have a clear idea of the finished project before a builder even steps on site.
Whether working on residential homes, renovations, apartments, commercial, healthcare or hospitality projects, the team at Hawkins Architecture are committed to finding practical, cost-effective building solutions to create functional yet aesthetically pleasing spaces.

Producing detailed construction drawings and specifications for Tender and/or Building Consent and Construction purposes
Project Management

Advising on reputable contractors and arranging building tenders and administering construction contracts to maintain quality control.
